Editor-> I too found the paper by "Taki" totally deplorable. This is why I chose to run the response by Conrad Black as a counter piece. As editor of the newsletter, I feel it is my obligation to present many different points of view on various topics that affect the Jewish community. As with any other publication of this kind, the views or ideas expressed in The Gantseh Megillah do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the editor (me). I simply make a judgment call as to what I feel would be interesting, thought provoking or entertaining to my readers. If I were to present only ideas that meshed with mine, the newsletter would become very myopic to say the least. I give my personal opinions only in the Editor's Comments column at the beginning of each issue. As in the case of the "Taki" piece, I try to present an opposing point of view when available. In this situation, I was thrilled to discover that Conrad Black had blasted back at this bigot hard and fast. I was even more impressed when I realized that Taki actually presented his article in one of Mr. Black's many newspapers. Believe me; Mr. Black's response spoke my mind, as well as many others I am sure, more than adequately. But as you can also see, although Conrad Black disagreed vehemently with Taki's comments, he still allowed them to appear in his publication in order to present that side of the issue to his readers. The fact that he then took his own columnist to task, shows what a mensch he really can be at times. Thank you again for contacting me with your concerns and ideas. I encourage all members of The Gantseh Megillah family to speak their mind freely. I am delighted you took the opportunity to do so.

	Taki paper on rich
I found the paper by "Taki" disgusting and obscene. Why do you reproduce it in your pages? You may not like Clinton, but I have very severe forebodings about the Bush administrations attitude towards Israel in general and Jews in particular. Can you please tell me where you stand on these issues?
