February edition
As soon as I get the e-mail that there is a new edition, I rush to open it. Thank you. I hope you visit to Mexico was at least twice as good as you had hoped. Comment: The background or watermark on your opening letter is so prominent that it is somewhat difficult to read the letter, but I struggled through it. I hope that the program about the Catskills will be shown on one of the U.S. channels. I was fortunate to have visited there during its heyday and really enjoyed it. I have often wondered if you are retired and therefore have the time to compose and put together the Gantseh Megillah. If not would you let me know your vocation. Thanks again for your work.
Editor-> It is always a joy hearing from you! Thank you for your continued support of The Gantseh Megillah. It makes me very happy to know how much you enjoy reading it. No, I am not retired. My partner Arnold and I own and operate a small, Web site design and hosting company in Montreal. The work I do on the glossary and the Megillah is accomplished during what I laughingly refer to as my "spare time." I wish I had more of an opportunity to work on both so I could implement some of the ideas I have. But unfortunately, the lack of available time and funds barely allows me to put out the product as it appears today. As you know, I do not charge for subscriptions, and all expenses come out of my own pocket. I guess one would call this a "labour or love." J I totally agree with your criticism of the background on the main page. It does make the text difficult to read to say the least. It will definitely be changed for the next edition. I still do not know if the Catskills documentary is going to be available in the states. As soon as I have some additional information I will certainly pass it on to you. Take good care my friend and please keep in touch when you have the chance. I enjoy hearing from you very much.
