I am delighted to announce the upcoming Bat Mitzvah of Jessica Edery on August 11th 2001. Jessica is the daughter of Jacob and Deborah Edery who are very dear friends of ours. Deb is actually the reason The Gantseh Megillah exists today. A few years ago, Deb contacted me about my glossary. Over time we became good friends and communicated regularly. One day Deb suggested to me that it might be a good idea to have a cultural off-shoot of the glossary that could take the form of a newsletter. Shortly thereafter, The Gantseh Megillah was born.
Jessica is an intelligent, kind, sensitive and beautiful young lady who I have had the extreme pleasure of meeting during an excursion we made to visit her family. She is a constant source of pride and joy to her loving parents and I have no doubt at all that Jessica is on the road to a remarkable life.
