An Explanation of my previous message
Dear Michael, Please accept my apologies. I am not an extremely consistent reader. I peruse your website from time to time. Unfortunately, many times I skip the editor's letter and surf around the site. I had not read that Auntie was not Jewish. This week I had mentioned your website to a friend at work who speaks Yiddish fluently. She is a daughter of holocaust survivors and has a very strong Jewish identity. I had promised to send her the link to your site. When I opened the latest newsletter, I thought that she would think it odd that Jews would be celebrating Christmas as I did. I read no further and sent you my letter. I was wrong for not being more informed before reacting and responding. Thank you for your clarification and immediate response. Again, I am sorry for responding as I did. Best wishes, Rhonda
Editor-> Dear Rhonda, Thank you for explaining your comments about my editorial mentioning Christmas celebrations with Aunty. I am happy to know that you read the entire piece and agree with my essential concept. It was gracious of you to apologize. Warmest wishes, Michael
