     Megillah Appreciation
Hi Michael, I stumbled across your wonderful newsletter while surfing Google for the correct spelling of mamallah (sp?), the word that a Jewish mother uses affectionately to her daughter or any younger woman. The correct translation is: little mother. Although the word did not appear in the Glossary, I had a lot of fun looking through that wonderful collection. I then read a few of the articles and was blown away by the insightfulness and reality of the voices. I plan to contribute some cash, as soon as I close my next escrow (Realtor)--and I also plan to spread the word to all of my Jewish friends and family. Thank you, Michael, for putting this wonderful newsletter together. For people like me--a transplanted New Yorker living in Benicia, CA--where the bagels are packaged, and are actually round, soft bread, and the Jewish food is absolutely non-existent, this is a comforting and wonderful new addition to my life! Wishing you many wonderful Brochehs! Judy
