I'm and Irish/Scottish/Chinese Catholic New Yorker who babysat for all the Orthodox Jewish children in my neighborhood (Washington Hts on 181st & Cabrini), whereby I learned to feed the children according to proper Jewish dietary laws. I "grew up" working in the New York garment business for 25 years, whereby I learned all the wonderful Yiddish words that I would never have known without my colorful and valuable garmet experience. So, I just love your website. I refer to it often. I am frequently "schvitzing" in my overheated office, or I might encounter a total "shlub" once in a while. And just today, I nicknamed a statue in my office "nudnik", remembering my mother's term of endearment many years ago for my younger brother, Jude. I will send a donation to your website as well, but I want you to know that it is very much enjoyed by many, both Jewish and non.
