Mazel Tov on your birthday, Michael! Have many, many more! I read with great interest the excerpt from The Jewish Week of New York about the exodus of Jews from the Bronx. I certainly fall into that category, when my husband and I abandoned Thwaites Place for a house in Staten Island around 1983...even his parents moved to an apartment building on Staten Island when we did. We all then moved out to Arizona. My parents stayed in the Bronx until my Mom passed away in 1995 and I brought my Dad out here to Arizona in January, 1996. (Boy, was that a culture shock for him at age 72, but he would not have survived by himself in New York, since he has m.s.) I look forward to receiving your e-mails always and again wish you the very best birthday! (My Dad's 79th birthday is next week on July 17!)
