If you did not have a car to go to the Mountains, you hired a Hackey. This was the guy that had the biggest car, and he would pile in three families and all their luggage. This was the days before air conditioned cars, and it was something travelling with that togetherness. Couldn't wait to get to the Red Appe Rest stop. Keep up the memories…
