Thank you for the wonderful idea of what you are doing. I attend a Yiddish Club group at BET in Eugene and find it a rewarding excavation of our long buried Yiddish language facility. Last night I attended a meeting of the Eugene Middle East Peace Group. It was so emotionally fulfilling to be able to share with the preconceived enemy the heartbreaks of living with the scenes of Israeli people suffering so terribly. When the Arabs spoke of their fears, most especially regarding their families in the middle east, It occurred to me how much we had in common. Governments have been dismal failures at conflict resolution. If the people could come together and share their humanity with one another, perhaps we could accomplish what governments cannot.
