	Parallax and Palestine
To quote a very British term, I was 'gobsmacked' to read this article. So the sophisticated Brits are so much more informed and therefore think that Israel is the problem? So the Barak 'just wait while I bend over and pull down my pants' offer to Arafat was a myth? The entire article carries the condescending tone we come to expect from the Poms. Don't forget that it was the darling Colonial Office at the source of the ME problems as we know it. The whole idea was to set up a Pan Arab Empire with close relations with the British Empire (protecting those oil interests). The British encouraged Arab immigration into Palestine between the wars while doing their best to discourage Jews from coming. The unstated anti-semitic British Foreign policy was a major factor in the Holocaust. The Nazis wanted to be rid of the Jews but no-one wanted them. Next best 'final solution' .... So spare us the sophistication. Focus on the cricket and maybe you'll be able to win a match within the next couple of decades.
